This 3-hour workshop is a fusion of yoga and art designed to awaken subtle energybodies, inspire creativity, and provide a safe atmosphere for self-explorationand self-expression. The first 1 ½ hours will be a sweet slow flow yoga practiceincluding meditation, breath work, movement, sounding, and a long relaxation.Following the movement, we will need a few minutes for transition intoself-expressive art work. I will guide the students through connecting with theenergy in the present moment which was created by them through their expressionand experience of the yoga practice. They will create for about 30-45 minutes and then I will gently encourage them to share during a discussion session designed to create community amongst the participants.

This workshop is not designed to teach any specific artform, but rather to
allow the participant’s to visually express their energy, emotions, feelings,
etc. 

Materials: paints, brushes, construction paper, glue,
glitter, crayons, markers, scissors, pencils, cups for water, paper
towels……..

* We ask that the students bring a towel with them to drape over their mat during creation time, a personal journal, and an open-heart.

levels.  Participants will enjoy  imaginative realignment of all the chakras through asana, free movement, dance, and pranayama to our favorite Chaka Khan hits.  In Chakra Khan we will elevate the heart rate, strengthen muscles and joyfully cleanse the chakras. Chakra Khan! Chakra Khan!

Being in Communion with one another is an Amazing experience that we sometimes fear due to past experiences of Connection and Love that left us less than satisfied. In this 90 minute workshop couples of all flavors will experience Each Other, Life and Love itself in a profound way through a slow yoga practice designed to Open the Heart. Whether you are in a committed relationship, friendship, or flying solo for the evening (we will partner you up), each two-some will participate in partner postures, Thai massage and back-bending, Heart-exploding asanas. Afterwards, expect to have a new found relationship with your partner, friend, newly-found friend, yourself and Love.

Creative Kids Workshop

During this 35-45 minute mini-workshop for mini-beings, children will be guided
through an experience in which they will explore, feel, move, and play with the
energy emanating from their bodies, hearts and spirits. Led by yoga teacher Deana
Maria, the children will feel the heat between their hands, explore sounding,
vibration, breathwork and light movement. Following the energy experience,
children will design their own magnets using crayons, markers and index cards.
